Digital for Beginners - A new course for Digital Camera users
The Photo Shop is now offering a digital photography class aimed at beginners or those who want to get more out of their digital cameras.
The class will run on Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 7.00pm to 9.00pm, here in the Photo Shop. Refreshments will be available from 6.45pm and there will be a break half way through. A full set of course notes will be provided plus a free colour booklet illustrating the points covered in the notes.
No previous knowledge is needed, just a desire to get the best from the exciting new world of digital photography. The course will cover digital basics such as what is a pixel, how many do you need, getting pictures onto the computer and printing them. There will be lots of practical demonstrations and the opportunity to print your own pictures. Classes will be restricted to six people, so that everyone can receive personal help and advice.
Dates for the next classes are as follows:
The cost will be £30.00 per class, inclusive of VAT, refreshments, course notes, prints made on the evening and a colour booklet. A non-returnable deposit of £10.00 is required to book a place, with the balance of £20.00 payable on the evening.
